This designation is based on the rich history and distinctive characteristics of the Cibiru area, regulated by Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2018. Cibiru inherits a variety of natural and cultural treasures, positioned at the foothills of Mount Manglayang, making it a potential wellness tourism destination. However, the development in the realm of health- based tourism is deemed not fully optimized. This research aims to identify the characteristics and development needs of wellness tourism in three dimensions: Mind, Spiritual, and Body Physical. Additionally, it seeks to recognize the influential factors in the development of health-based tourism and assess the community's perceptions regarding the development of health-based tourism in the Cibiru Village area. The research utilizes qualitative analysis methods, employing descriptive analysis through interviews with relevant stakeholders, including government representatives, administrators, and local residents. The findings conclude that the tourism potential in Cibiru Village encompasses four developed attractions and nine in the developmental stage. The completeness of facilities and infrastructure in Cibiru Village stands at 65.85%. The characteristics of health products in the village are diverse, offering activities like healthy gymnastics, zumba, yoga, tracking, cycling, spiritual retreats, and herbal detox that attract tourists. Additionally, offerings in the well-being aspect (mind) include daily activities, customs, and Sundanese Wiwitan beliefs. Spiritual values are also emphasized, involving visitors in traditional ceremonies, religious rituals, and cultural celebrations. text
