Moreover, the market is a public place that is most frequently visited by various levels of society with a dense circulation. In this age, technology and culture both are developed provides its own advantages and obstacle to fulfil phsysical needs, for example people who are busy with daily activities and difficult to spare time to buy basic necessities like go to groceries The goals of this study to find solutions of problems that occur in the market today with an interior approach, mainly related to convenience and time efficiency when shopping at the market. Some of the methodologies used are correlational and practical. Investigating and finding the relationship between factors in market phenomena as a means of buying and selling basic needs and the activities of several groups of society, thereby producinng data to take practiccal steps, in this context making interior designs. The market that will be designed is classified as a modern market with several new instruments and systems, such as the implementation of drive-thru which is expected to provide practicality and save time when shopping. Apart from that, by implementing the drive-thru (lantatur) system, it is hoped that the modern market can become an alternative buying and selling facility during urgent conditions, for example when a pandemic such as Covid-19 occurs in 2019. Basically, the lantatur system already applies social distancing because buyers shop using vehicles that are Indirectly, there will be no physical contact with other buyers. The management, modern markets are regulated and managed by the government and partnered with the Association of All Indonesian Market Traders (APPSI). The design concept offered are healthy, modern and ease which provides clean and healthy facilities and goods, applies integrated technology with all features and facilities as well as ease of access. text
