Summary: | Light pollution is a problem faced by the whole world because gradually light pollution can reduce the ability to observe stars. Light pollution also has a significant impact on the visibility of astronomical objects, especially at various stages of dawn/dusk (twilight). Twilight is the transition from night to day due to the Earth's rotation. Observing the twilight phase is observing changes in sky brightness from dark to light. The twilight phase is divided into 3 (three), namely civil, nautikal, and astronomical. Twilight occurs when the Sun is still below the horizon. Calculating the angle of depression of the Sun at twilight is needed to calculate the sky brightness value to determine the presence of light pollution at a particular location. To determine twilight, this is done by observing changes in sky brightness accurately using a tool to measure the brightness of the night sky, namely the SQMat 3 locations, namely, Sumedang, Garut and Agam. Sky brightness is measured at 60 second intervals. Data analysis was carried out using single and double difference, moving average and polynomial methods. The results obtained using this series of methods are that the average sky brightness for Sumedang, Garut and Agam is 19.38 mpdbp, 21.39 mpdbp and 21.19 mpdbp. The average time and angle of depression of the Sun during the civil twilight phase in Sumedang is 06:00 WIB -5.516o; 18:25 WIB -5.505o, nautikal twilight 05:33 WIB -11.717o; 18:49 WIB -11.095o, astronomical twilight 05:11 WIB -16.780o; 19:15 WIB -17.155o. The average time for the appearance of the civil twilight phase at dawn and dusk in Garut is 06:10 WIB -5,800o; 18:34 WIB -5.372o, nautikal twilight 05:44 WIB -11.862o; 19:01 WIB -11.665o, and astronomical twilight 05:18 WIB -17.863o; 19:31 WIB -18.591o. The average time for the appearance of the civil twilight phase at dawn and dusk in Agam is 06:27 WIB -5,882o; 19:04 WIB -5.060o, nautikal twilight 06:01 WIB -11.865o; 19:29 WIB -10.662o, and astronomical twilight 05:35 WIB -17.976o; 19:43WIB -16.157o.
