Summary: | With the higher population density in a city, the relevance of comfort to green open space as an essential element of urban space is less favorable. These elements are essential for the purposes of different public functions such as recreation and leisure accommodation for urban residents. Lack of open space would be detrimental to urban life. In fast urbanization countries, open space is shrinking at an alarming rate and cannot be an effective urban infrastructure. In southern Tangerang it was discovered that a large amount of open space was scattered in the city. But often these open spaces are not used to their full potential. One reason is the hierarchy of use. This paper aims to study open space in the context of cities on the adaptation of Maslow's hierarchy of theory to effective urban infrastructure. The one where the city of southern Tangerang became the standard for increasing living in the income aspect of the community, the use of open space in leisure time and the increase in the stress level of living in the city so that it would increase the need for green open space. In this case, the role of landscape in creating space that can meet human needs becomes very important. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive study with data acquisition using documentation, observation, library and questionnaire instrument with seven general parameters for comfort and attractiveness. The study's description focuses on visitors' perception of the level of fulfillment of human needs based on Maslow's theory of Park City I, southern Tangerang. Data analysis uses a qualitatively descriptive approach that uses a score ratio with a range of scales. This study will also involve the data collection stage through problem identification, literature studies, and spatial and non-spatial data collection such as questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are expected to provide guidance and recommendations on the parameters of human needs in landscape adaptation aimed at improving local living standards through landscape applications in daily life. |
