Description
Summary:The Jabodetabek Commuter Line is an essential supporting public transportation system connecting suburban areas to city centre workplaces. Determining the scope/range of services needs to be considered in a transit service availability system. Usually, the scope of transit service coverage is conventionally determined based on the distance a person is willing or willing to walk. In this research, we add park and ride and ridesourcing to Jabodetabek Commuter Line Station locations in suburban areas, which are expected to increase interest in using the Jabodetabek Commuter Line. So, it is necessary to measure performance, which can state what factors influence the service area coverage of a station in suburban areas. Station service coverage is measured by the length of the journey from residence to the starting station for Jabodetabek Commuter Line users, with the originating stations of the trip being Tenjo Station and Tigaraksa Station, which were analyzed using the multiple linear regression method. It was found from the estimation results that the station service range in the first model is Ln, the distance from residence to the station of origin of the trip (km); it was found that there were 6 (six) influencing factors, namely the first-mile mode of public transportation, the first-mile mode on foot, departure time, length of time willing to walk (minutes), type of private parking, and essential factors of Commuter Line services related to comfort on the train during travel. Then, the estimated tolerance value for the station service range was 0.5-9.05 km. Meanwhile, the content of station services in the second model is the travel time from the place of residence to the station of origin of the trip (minutes); it was found that there are 9 (nine) factors, namely the first-mile mode of public transportation, an essential element for Commuter Line services related to the ease of getting information about Commuter Line travel disruptions, costs parking/month, education, departure time, essential factors of Commuter Line services related to comfort in the train during travel, travel time from destination station to work/school (minutes), type of private parking, and essential factors of P+R services related to vehicle safety when parked. The estimated tolerance value for the station's service range is 5-26 minutes.
