Summary:Kolorai Tourism Village is one of the development programs carried out by the Morotai Island Regency government to answer the solution of poverty in rural areas. After the implementation of the Kolorai Tourism Village program in Morotai Island Regency, it is expected that there will be many tourist visits, affecting the economy of the people of Kolorai Village. The purpose of the study is to see changes in assets in the Kolorai Village community and see the sustainability of the livelihood of the Kolorai Village community in the tourism village program. The research methodology used is the quantitative method with Livelihood Capital Index (LCI) Analysis and qualitative methods seen through the framework of sustainable livelihoods (Sustainable Livelihood Aproach). For data collection techniques, this research includes primary data in the form of questionnaires, interviews and field observations, as well as secondary data collection techniques in the form of literature studies and documents from the study location. The research found that the tourism village program in Kolorai Village, in the development of community based tourism in Kolorai Tourism Village has not run well. so that it has a direct effect on changes in the assets of the people of Kolorai Tourism Village. Overall, it has increased from 2013 to 2023, but the community of Kolorai village is at a less sustainable level. And for now the development of Kolorai Tourism Village has not had a direct impact on the welfare of the community. The livelihood of the community in Kolorai Tourism Village is still not sustainable, this is because the community has not been able to overcome vulnerability and maximize existing assets so that they have not been able to achieve sustainable goals. by trying to overcome the changes resulting from the existence of Tourism Villages, improvements in institutional strategies, policies, and processes and increasing livelihood assets. It is expected to be able to improve the livelihood of the community in Kolorai Tourism Village in the future.
