This phenomenon is triggered by technological advances and the acceleration of the flow of information, encouraging the adoption of fast and efficient lifestyles. John Suler's study of the Online Disinhibition Effect examines how technology influences human interactions, causing actions that would not normally be expressed openly in the offline world. The oversimplification process in the digital realm depicts humans through icons, avatars and emoticons, resulting in a reduction of meaning and dehumanization. The author examines the theory of representational art, Technological Determinism, and Online Disinhibition Effect to understand the impact of simplification on human interaction. This work is an exploration of reduced human visualization through a digital interactive installation with camera sensors. The title "Ghost" was chosen to reflect the author's view of the way humans see each other in the digital realm and the fast information age. text
