Digital Natives, the generation raised in technological immersion, provide a
unique perspective on Cyberspace, the virtual realm shaped by internet activities.
In the continuously evolving digital era, the author, a Digital Native, recognizes
the imperative need for awareness that modern humans live in two different
spaces—virtual and concrete. The author aims to reconsider the significance of
concrete space as the absolute definition of real space by creating a stage
installation from found objects as an artistic idiom. Electrical energy is employed
to maximize the material potential, making the considerable scale of the work
increasingly acknowledged by observers. The resulting piece presents a
panorama of various three-dimensional objects that repeat materially, yet are
crafted and placed sporadically, thus evoking a sense of pollution. The author
underscores the genuine process of achieving acceptance of a certain situation as
an idea. The practice of working across different mediums successfully generates
artistic satisfaction and brings to life the conceptual essence of the work in a
personal landscape. |
