Summary:This research was conducted to design a strategy for developing Business skill of owner MSMEs Sulaman Kapalo Panitik Nareh, Pariaman City. This research aims to determine and analyze external and internal factors that influence human resources and design strategies to improve the Sulaman MSME business. Research techniques use quantitative and qualitative approaches with SWOT analysis tools. Sampling was carried out using a non-probability sampling method, with a total of six respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research results show that the leading cause of the problems experienced by many Sulaman MSMEs, in general, is the inadequate quality of human resources, one of which is a need for more business management knowledge. The strategy options that can be implemented are intensive and integrative strategies. For the SWOT matrix, the strategy applied is a turnaround strategy. The practical implications of this research are increasing business management knowledge and developing HR skills to increase digital literacy capabilities to support embroidery product diversification innovation.
