The development will trigger the rise of water needs in the regency including for domestics, industries and clean/drinking water. To anticipate the needs, a study of water supply in the river basin of Siak, the main source of standard water in the regency of Siak, should be conducted. <br /> <br /> <br /> The determination of water supply in the river basin of Siak is based on the model NRECA, one of rainfall-runoff models. The application of this model in the river basin of Siak is due to the absence of water debit data as the determination of water supply so that it is generated from rainfall. The model is not only applied in the study area but a model of calibration is also conducted. The calibration model is applied in two different locations: in the river basin of Tampung Kiri-Pantai Cermin and in the river basin of Siak-Pakanbaru because the two locations have debit data as the calibration material. Based on the calibration model, it is obtained that the value of parameter model is o.6, the GTW is 0.25, and the value factor of plants is 0.75 with the approximate average error of 28% for Pantai Cermin and of 29% for Pakanbaru. <br /> <br /> <br /> Furthermore, the debit reliability is calculatxd from the model result based on the occurrence probability: It is obtained that the debit reliability of 80% probability is approximately 247.12 m3/s, and that of 95% probability is around 185.85 m3/s. The result of the debit reliability can be used in the future until 2030 by considering the water needs along the time. <br /> text
