Pecel Madiun is one of Indonesia's intangible cultural heritages, which has received recognition from the Ministry of Education and Culture Number 2194/F4/KB.09.06/2022 dated 21 October 2022. Intangible cultural heritage has a greater risk and can be lost forever. Intangible cultural heritage such as Madiun pecel culinary delights can easily be disrupted by other forms of culture from outside. The design of this website functions as a medium that can be a means of preserving Indonesia's intangible cultural heritage. The absence of media that displays information that specifically discusses the intangible cultural heritage of Madiun pecel culinary in more depth is a big challenge for this culinary delight in the future. The use of design ethnography methods in the design process serves to obtain answers to problems that are relevant and in accordance with community needs through the form, style and visual communication patterns that we want to create on the Madiun Pecel culinary website as a medium for preserving Indonesia's intangible cultural heritage. The main objective of this design is to preserve Indonesia's intangible cultural heritage of Madiun pecel culinary through website media as well as identifying and mapping information about Madiun pecel culinary based on data findings containing the identity of Madiun pecel. The benefit of this design is that it can be a reference and basic reference for designing information media in the form of a website, which has an emphasis on discovering the meaning of the relationship between humans and the activities they carry out, in this case giving rise to the culinary identity of Madiun pecel based on local traditions. This design produces a website that contains information on the intangible cultural heritage of Madiun pecel culinary based on local traditional culture with a visual approach, identity and design style that suits user needs and design objectives based on the local cultural traditions of the Madiun region. text
