Summary:In this study, electric bicycle motorcycle design studies are presented in accordance with related standards, taking into account the rated power of the motor and physical constraints. This research focuses on the design and modeling of a 250 W Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) for e-bike applications, using JMAG Express software. After determining the parameters of the motor and the materials used, motor design optimization efforts are carried out by making an optimal design. The design of the bike is judged based on torque, efficiency, and speed compared to a standard e-bike. What is to be achieved in this design is a rated power of 250W producing torque in accordance with the specifications of electric bicycle applications in urban areas with an efficiency of more than 80%.
