Description
Summary:In today's development of motor, more and more people are diverting the machines they use every day to use electric motors. A cheaper electric motor is needed so SRM or Switched Reluctance Motor is the type of electric motor chosen. Furthermore, a series of converters is needed which perform well but still require small costs and dimensions for household appliances. After further consideration, a converter with shared switched topology is the best type to address this application. Later, a shared switch converter is simulated and tested its performance on the power electronics lab. It is obtained that shared switch converter perform well even though it has fewer Components.
