Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) process at Palm Oil Factory produced sludge like Empty Bunch Fiber (EBF) and liquid waste. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In order to manage waste problem which produced from palm oil production at Palm Oil Factory (POF), Center of Palm Plantation Research (CPPR) in Medan, North Sumatera, has develop organic technology to produce organic fertilizer which full of bio nutrition and environmental friendly. This simple production technology can eliminate waste (zero waste) at POF. So, there is no more waste for environment around the factory. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Recently, national and world demand for organic fertilizer was increased because the price of anorganic fertilizer is high. Also the influenced of world life style to consume natural food which come from organic thing, free of chemistry entity. Judging from the business opportunities, PT. ABC proposed a joint venture cooperation between PT. ABC and PTPN VI (Persero) to handle waste management at POF PTPN VI (Persero). The plan of this joint venture are building Organic Fertilizer Factory (OFF) 69 and 138 ton/day capacity which will process waste from POF capacity of 30 and 60 ton/hour on Province of Jambi. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Development strategic of Organic Fertilizer Factory (OFF) are focused on five business aspects, consist of production, management, marketing, environment and financial aspect. The subject of emphasis in financial aspect particularly on the investment decision analysis and the funding strategy. In the financial analysis aspect two alternative of factory are applied namely alternative A (production floor made from cement and using Backhus turner machine) and alternative B (simple production floor and using Asia Green turner machine) for OFF 69 ton/day and 138 ton/day capacity. Each alternative has three funding scenarios. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Result from financial analysis aspect for each factory capacity on three funding scenario show that alternative A is feasible to run (positive NPV, Pay Back Period is under project time horizon, IRR value above WACC and ROI value over loan interest rate) and alternative B is not feasible to run. The priority of funding strategy is scenario 1 that have highest NPV and ROI value than other scenarios. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The result of this development strategic is guidance for PTPN VI (Persero) and PT. ABC to invest, build, operate the Organic Fertilizer Factory (OFF). <br /> text
