Description
Summary:Untung Jawa is a small island located in the Thousand Islands, about 45 kilometers north of Jakarta, Indonesia. The island has a fairly small size, with an area of about 5.7 km². The topography is relatively flat with a few small hills in the northern part. The beach is white sand, and most of the coastal areas on Untung Java Island are easily accessible. It is surrounded by clear waters and is a popular location for activities such as snorkeling, diving, and sailing. One of the regions in Indonesia that has experienced significant coastline changes occurs on Untung Java Island, Thousand Islands, DKI Jakarta. The damage caused losses to the surrounding residents. To overcome the erosion problem that occurs, it is necessary to plan coastal protection buildings, so that population activities that take place in the area can take place as they should. In this final project, GENESIS Program will be used to analyze changes in the coastline on the east side of Untung Java Island. Environmental data analysis will be performed as modeling input data. Three types of beach protection structures will be modeled and beach protectors will be selected that can add the most optimal coastline. Calculations of selected structure specifications will be carried out and detailed drawings of the structure will be made
