The rapid development of the industry, driven by technological and informational advancements, escalates competition in the business world and gives rise to numerous technological innovations. One such innovation is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, acknowledged for its capable to integrating all aspects of a company into a comprehensive system. The ERP systems is applicable across various industries and scales, including small and medium-sized enterprises. CV Fortune Enterprise, a medium-sized furniture manufacturing business specializing in rattan-based products, requires a suitable ERP system to address its daily operational challenges. Hence, this research aims to design an information system tailored to the needs of CV Fortune Enterprise. This research endeavors to design a prototype ERP system using open-source software. The Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) and the Developed Framework for Implementation of ERP Systems in SMEs will be employed concurrently as the methodological framework for designing the ERP system. The process will involve analyzing processes, defining the scope, creating a project plan, and building the system. The process analysis will entail mapping existing business processes using Swimlane Diagrams. Subsequently, the process of scope defining will involve identifying issues, functional requirements, and non-functional needs of the system. Then, the project plan will selecting the software and modules to be used. Finally, the system will be built and tested. The outcome of this research is a prototype ERP system that has undergone verification and validation processes to align with user requirements. With this prototype, it is expected that issues such as reliance on physical documents, needs for data integration, and automatically warehousing management can be effectively addressed.
