PENINGKATAN EFISIENSI WAKTU PENGUJIAN KENDARAAN BERMOTOR DENGAN PENDEKATAN SIMULASI PADA UPPKB UJUNG MENTENG
The increasing number of vehicles in Jakarta has led to a rise in the number of Kendaraan Bermotor Wajib Uji (KBWU). The increase happens due to the need for vehicle roadworthiness tests to avoid or prevent traffic accidents. In Jakarta, there are five vehicle testing centers. One of the testing...

One of the testing centers in Jakarta is Unit Pengelola Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor (UPPKB) Ujung Menteng. UPPKB Ujung Menteng has a vehicle testing time target of 30 minutes. However, some vehicles are still found to undergo vehicle testing that takes more than 30 minutes. Therefore, this research aims to identify factors that influence vehicle testing time and determine the factors that most significantly influence vehicle testing times to find alternative solutions. The objective is achieved with a simulation approach to simulate changes to be made. One of the changes will be the alternative solution, which is expected to be implemented in vehicle testing in UPPKB Ujung Menteng. In this research, there are three scenario models, are increasing the number of printed kir cards, combining physical check testing with vehicle undercarriage checks and combination of two scenario models. Based on the analysis of the simulation results from both scenario models, it was concluded that combining the two scenario models has the lowest average vehicle testing time compared to just choosing one of the two scenario models. The average vehicle testing time was reduced, which previously had an average of 1444.82 seconds or 24 minutes, which became 469.64 seconds or 7.81 minutes in the scenario combination model. text |
