Summary:Sanggar Batik Katura is one of the small and medium industries (IKM) that produces batik in Cirebon. The managerial system of Sanggar Batik Katura's stamped batik production process has several obstacles and inefficiencies, with the root of the problem being: (1) there is no raw material stock control, (2) production planning does not consider the overall situation, (3) supervision is still manual, namely asking directly to workers, (4) recording is manual and inconsistent, (5) scheduling system based on estimates does not use software, there is no integrated device, (6) and no integrated device for communication. The design of a production planning and control information system is expected to solve these problems. The production planning and control information system is designed using the software development life cycle (SDLC) method. This research only covers six stages out of the seven stages of the SDLC. The SDLC stages include identifying problems, opportunities, and objectives, determining user needs, analyzing system requirements, designing the system, creating software documentation, testing, and system maintenance. The information system in this research is designed using Microsoft Excel software, with several key features such as creating invoices, identifying raw material needs, scheduling production, creating production orders, managing raw material inventory, and generating purchase orders. Based on user testing and user opinions, the designed production planning and control information system is in accordance with the system requirements and can be used by Sanggar Batik Katura with prior user training.
