Summary: | Muara Angke Fishing Port located in Pluit, North Jakarta is categorized as an archipelago fishing port. The port serves fishing vessels with a size of 30-131 GT and is also facilitated with other supporting facilities such as coldstorage, ship docking, fuel dipo, and so on. The problem that often occurs at the port is the calmness of the waves in the harbor pond which causes ships to be unable to load and unload throughout the year. In addition, in this port, the shipping lanes have not been mapped properly and there is a buildup of sediment in the harbor pool which can cause shipwrecks. Therefore, in this final project, the author will design a breakwater as well as a harbor pond and shipping channel at Muara Angke Fishing Port. The design criteria used include study site bathymetry data, hydro-oseanographic data, ship data, and analysis of water facility needs at the study site. Breakwater structure planning will use Delft3D software for wave modeling on existing and planned layouts. Shipping channel planning will be planned for width, depth, and shipping channel trajectory. The planning of the harbor pool will be planned for the radius of the turning pool and the depth of the harbor pool.
Based on the planning results, the breakwaters on the North and Northwest sides of Muara Angke Harbor is effective to protect the jetty from high waves. The breakwater is planned using a sloping side building type with a structural slope of 1:2. The constituent materials used are natural stones weighing 0.25, 5, and 50 kg. The breakwater structure is a total of 1095 m long divided into north and northwest sides that have the same dimensions with a crest width of 1 m, a structure height of 4.833 m, and a crest elevation of +1.833 m.. The shipping channel is planned to have two lanes of 30 m width and 4 m depth. The harbor pool is planned to have a depth of 4 m and is equipped with a turning pool with a radius of 45 m. The total cost required to make the breakwater and harbor pool is IDR 40,585,784,300 |
