The IVECO Bus is become critical vehicle to support mobilization employee and all residents on jobsite from Highland to Lowland vice versa. If there is a disruption, then the impact will be significant on company’s operational activities in general. Several years past there was a difficulty on replacement of unit bus, therefore nowadays there are many buses operations beyond its age or target life, and hour meter that recommend by its manufacturer. Hence, it becomes a challenge when Equipment Replacement Plan (ERP) Bus Program is continued to determine which buses that required to be priority to replaced and minimized error selection, and it is expected that the selecting method of replacement bus have an impact on reducing company costs, not the opposite. Currently method used decision tree by comparing target life and hour meter to its standard from manufacture, it is estimated that the current method is not optimal due to require a long-time to determine and costs are not considered. Therefore, an improvement in Bus selection on the ERP Bus program is proposed on this research. This research applies several methods in Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), such as Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Weighted Scoring Model (WSM), on the problem analysis using Kepner-Tregoe Problem Analysis. In the MCDM Method, four criteria will be determined when determining the priority of which buses will be replaced, the four criteria are Life Target, Hour meter, Maintenance Cost, and Cost per Hour. By using MCDM it will be the best alternative on selecting Bus Replacement in the ERP Bus Program, and it will also estimate the efficiency result with improved method compared to existing method. After research and data processing conducted, a Decision Support System (DSS) established. it is proven that this Proposed method with MCDM is better alternatives method than existing method, with further calculations with DSS, this proposed method can provide potential savings of $ 4.5 million per year on maintenance costs and potential costs savings of $ 158 per hour on Cost per Hour at unit. text
