Due to the emergence of people's interest in trying to trade as MSMEs. Increasing product/service trends, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on people affected by layoffs, in a declining economic situation, the human need to meet living costs, and restore the economy. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of MSME development on the economic welfare of MSME business actors during the pandemic, to improve the welfare of MSME players. Primary data collection was taken from questionnaires and interviews and secondary data based on journals, books, popular media and government documents. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and nearest neighbor analysis which is carried out using automatic analysis and determining the type of distribution pattern using the Mapping feature and T Scale calculations. The results of mapping the distribution of MSMEs in the three road corridors as the city center show that there are 113 MSMEs, of which the District Tawang in the Jalan Sutisna Senjaya corridor has the largest number of MSMEs with 50 businesses. The effectiveness of the development of MSMEs in Tasikmalaya City after being identified with the characteristics of MSMEs and their level of welfare in research is quite satisfactory for their development. The choice of location for MSMEs is very influential, especially on the road corridor in this research because it is a busy road. The level of welfare in the development of MSME business actors when facing the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic is quite responsive when experiencing a decline in income. text |

MSMEs have a very important role in Indonesia, especially around the
Tasikmalaya City area which can be said to be developing. Due to the emergence
of people's interest in trying to trade as MSMEs. Increasing product/service trends,
the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on people affected by layoffs, in a declining
economic situation, the human need to meet living costs, and restore the economy.
This research aims to determine the effectiveness of MSME development on the
economic welfare of MSME business actors during the pandemic, to improve the
welfare of MSME players. Primary data collection was taken from questionnaires
and interviews and secondary data based on journals, books, popular media and
government documents. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and
nearest neighbor analysis which is carried out using automatic analysis and
determining the type of distribution pattern using the Mapping feature and T Scale
calculations. The results of mapping the distribution of MSMEs in the three road
corridors as the city center show that there are 113 MSMEs, of which the District
Tawang in the Jalan Sutisna Senjaya corridor has the largest number of MSMEs
with 50 businesses. The effectiveness of the development of MSMEs in Tasikmalaya
City after being identified with the characteristics of MSMEs and their level of
welfare in research is quite satisfactory for their development. The choice of
location for MSMEs is very influential, especially on the road corridor in this
research because it is a busy road. The level of welfare in the development of MSME
business actors when facing the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic is quite
responsive when experiencing a decline in income. |
