The study is motivated by the need to address the challenges posed by diversity and its influence on organizational practices, particularly in the context of a specific division within the company. The research is guided by the following objectives: to discover the organizational practices unique to the company that impact diversity climate and employee’s teamwork, to generate strategies based on the existing conditions for the benefit of similar companies in the industry, and to explore the influence of diversity climate on employee collaboration within the company. The research address diversity climate within PT Thomas Gesit effects on employee teamwork and organizational performance. the research questions focus on understanding employee perceptions of teamwork following departmental distribution, expectations regarding diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and solutions to mitigate adverse consequences resulting from the separation of foreign and Indonesian employees. The research employs a qualitative methodology to gain insights into the experiences and challenges faced by employees in the context of diversity and communication within the company. The research design encompasses an exploration of the company's background, historical and situational factors that have led to the study, and the specific business challenge at hand. The study also delves into the company's current industry standing, providing a detailed portrayal of the organizational context. The research stages involve a literature review on diversity and its impact on workgroup processes, culminating in the development of a conceptual framework to guide the study. The contribution of this research lies in its potential to provide valuable insights for organizations, particularly in the transportation industry, on effectively managing diversity climate and enhancing employee teamwork and enhancing its organizational development and effectiveness through HR department. By discovering organizational practices unique to PT Thomas Gesit and generating HR strategies based on the existing conditions, this study aims to offer practical recommendations that can be applied by similar companies in the industry. Ultimately, the research seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of human resources management and organizational behaviour, with a focus on diversity and collaboration within the context of transportation company in Indonesia. text
