Summary: | The Avian Flu virus is still a deadly disease which already spreads all over the world. Until now there is no effective treatment to eliminate the disease. An example of this can be observed in Tipar, Cikelet. In this village there had been eleven cases of Avian Flu virus that resulted in death in the time period of two months. This virus can spread from chicken to chicken and from chicken to human. In this final project, the spread of virus will be observed only for the case of transmission from chicken to chicken and from chicken to human. The spread of Avian Flu virus can occur if there is a transmission or a direct contact between infected chickens with healthy chickens or susceptible chickens, or it can also happened if there is a direct contact from infected chickens to susceptible humans. In this final project, a mathematical model of transmission Avian Flu virus within chicken and from chicken population to human population for Cikelet case will be shown. From this model the basic reproduction number is obtained, which then can be used to analyze the dynamic of the disease . Analysis of this model shows that there are two stationary points, which is the free disease stationer point and the endemic stationary point. It is also shown that the endemic in chicken population will cause an endemic in human population. |
