Unlike the previous study on cement industry in Indonesia, the presence of green HRM in the fashion sector of the country remains unexplored. This study used qualitative in-depth interviews with six informants from five major multinational fast-fashion companies in Indonesia, including interns, ex-interns, and manager trainees. Utilizing an exploratory approach, this research aimed to expand empirical evidence on the implementation of green HRM and its impact on sustainable performance in the Asian fast-fashion industry. Data analysis involved categorizing responses into topics related to green HRM and sustainable performance. The findings indicate limited awareness of green HRM practices among employees in Indonesian fast-fashion companies. The study notes that employees are aware of only two out of five functions mentioned, specifically citing green recruitment and green training as the only implemented green HRM practices. The link between green HRM and sustainable performance encompasses a broad scope and complexities arise in the study. text
