For that reason, This final projects goalis to replace conventional ECG monitoring system with ECG monitoring system using wireless device. This system is beneficial to people who need to monitor their heart condition but cannot leave their workplace. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SMS based tele-electrocardiogram system is heart signal telemonitoring system using SMS service provided by cellular phone provider. This system capture patients ECG data then transmit it through modem using SMS service. On the receiver side, the message is reconstructed to ECG signal as before. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> System programming was designed using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and compatible with Windows XP operating system. In programming system, the system is divided into several modules which have specific function. Those modules are; format SMS module, used to change the data format from unformatted to SMS format; serial communication mudule, used in sending and reciving SMS; and interface module. <br /> text
