However, abrasion has caused significant damage to Plentong Beach from 2018 to 2023. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify the impacts of abrasion disasters on the Plentong Beach Tourism Object and to examine the efforts of abrasion disaster management implemented at the Plentong Beach Tourism Object in Indramayu. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method and coding analysis were used to identify stakeholders, risks, and the availability of disaster management plans, assess preparedness, identify abrasion impacts on tourist attractions, and identify recovery and barriers to abrasion management at the tourist site based on data obtained through interviews, secondary data, and literature review. The analysis revealed that abrasion has reduced the area of Plentong Beach by 1.3 hectares from 2018 to 2023 and has damaged several facilities and attractions at the tourist site. Disaster management efforts have been implemented at Plentong Beach, but the lack of disaster management plan documents in tourism has led to a lack of specific coordination for each involved stakeholder, resulting in stakeholders acting based on their respective duties. Various mitigation efforts have been undertaken, including early warning systems, the construction of coastal protection facilities, and efforts to recover from the impacts of abrasion. However, the ineffectiveness of mitigation efforts and limited funding have resulted in the abrasion's impacts not being fully reduced, leading to ongoing damage to the tourist site and some other facilities at the Plentong Beach Tourism Object. text
