Resonance phenomena can occur, leading to increased passenger compartment vibration levels. Therefore, in the design process of high-speed train bodies, the flexibility effects of the train body on train dynamics need to be analyzed. Assuming the train body as a rigid object becomes less relevant in the context of high-speed trains. Using Abaqus software, this undergraduate thesis will simulate the natural frequency or modal analysis of train body vibration modes and dynamic implicit analysis. Meanwhile, a rigid train body model will be simulated using Universal Mechanism and Abaqus on straight tracks with variations in speed and track irregularities according to standards. The main objective of this undergraduate thesis is to analyze the vibration modes and natural frequencies of passenger train body structures. Additionally, this thesis aims to conduct simulations of the dynamics of multiple-body passenger trains by considering the train body as rigid and flexible. Furthermore, an analysis will be performed on the impact of the vertical bending mode of the passenger car body structure on the car body's vibration level. Numerical study of multi-body simulations using one passenger train unit will involve attaching three accelerometers located in the middle of the train body and two additional sensors at the secondary suspension points of the car body. This simulation aims to obtain vertical acceleration data in the frequency domain for both flexible and rigid train body models. text |
