One notable example is the Creative Tourism Village of Rajut Binong Jati, located in the Binong Jati district of Bandung City, known for its knitting industry. Despite a long history of knitting production involving numerous micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKMs), the village faces challenges such as declining production and accessibility constraints. This study aims to formulate recommendations for the arrangement of the Binong Jati area as a creative tourism village, focusing on the 5A tourism arrangement criteria, arrangement components, arrangement principles, identifying tourist attractions, and problem structures. Data analysis methods include qualitative descriptive analysis and gap analysis based on each tourism criterion. The Creative Tourism Village of Binong Jati has numerous tourist attractions that need to be preserved and developed. The analysis results indicate that accessibility and amenities are the aspects requiring the most attention among the five criteria: attraction, amenities, accessibility, activities, and accommodation. Recommendations for the arrangement of the creative tourism village of Binong Jati involve stakeholder collaboration and interventions from various government agencies to improve road infrastructure and waste management, as well as providing supporting facilities such as public toilets. Additionally, environmental sustainability and local economic considerations must be taken into account in implementing these recommendations to maintain a balance between development and resource conservation. text |

Creative tourism villages have become economic drivers in developing countries,
supported by government programs for their development. One notable example is
the Creative Tourism Village of Rajut Binong Jati, located in the Binong Jati
district of Bandung City, known for its knitting industry. Despite a long history of
knitting production involving numerous micro, small, and medium enterprises
(UMKMs), the village faces challenges such as declining production and
accessibility constraints. This study aims to formulate recommendations for the
arrangement of the Binong Jati area as a creative tourism village, focusing on the
5A tourism arrangement criteria, arrangement components, arrangement
principles, identifying tourist attractions, and problem structures. Data analysis
methods include qualitative descriptive analysis and gap analysis based on each
tourism criterion. The Creative Tourism Village of Binong Jati has numerous
tourist attractions that need to be preserved and developed. The analysis results
indicate that accessibility and amenities are the aspects requiring the most attention
among the five criteria: attraction, amenities, accessibility, activities, and
accommodation. Recommendations for the arrangement of the creative tourism
village of Binong Jati involve stakeholder collaboration and interventions from
various government agencies to improve road infrastructure and waste
management, as well as providing supporting facilities such as public toilets.
Additionally, environmental sustainability and local economic considerations must
be taken into account in implementing these recommendations to maintain a
balance between development and resource conservation. |
