Summary: | One of the biggest impacts felt due to a disaster is the economic impact, especially
in an area that absorbs a lot of labor and is densely populated. Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict has many MSMEs that absorb a lot of labor so that if Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict does not have economic resilience and proper disaster risk management,
the impact caused in the event of a disaster will certainly be massive. To overcome
the challenge of lack of knowledge of risk management, appropriate disaster risk
management is needed to improve economic resilience of MSMEs. Disaster Risk
Financing (DRF) is a disaster risk management concept that aims to sustain the
business of an area. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case
study approach. The analysis material was obtained by conducting interviews with
key informants who knew the ideal and existing conditions of the implementation of
DRF in Dayeuhkolot District. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen
that the implementation of DRF in Dayeuhkolot Sub-district has potentials and
challenges that can be overcome effectively by implementing certain strategies
according to the area that implements it. In addition, the proper implementation of
disaster risk management can also reduce the impact of various disruptions. |
