INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/81120 The existence of a port is very important to support the interests of a region. One way to meet the needs of an area is to build a new port or develop an existing port. The construction of the Patimban Port in Subang, West Java is indeed being prepared to become the first port in Indonesia to integrate the entire supply chain and also become a new international scale port to complement other ports currently operating. One of the water facilities needed is navigation channels and port basin, therefore it is necessary to plan a navigation channels and port basin for a planned ship with specifications for Container 107526 DWT ships with OCDI selected design standards. The analysis is conducted on the navigation channels and port basin based on the results of wave modeling, current modeling and sedimentation using STWAVE, RMA2, and SED2D module. The calculation results show that the width of the navigation channels of 525 m with a navigation channels depth of 17 m and a port basin with a diameter of 700 m and the port basin depth of 17 m. The results of the analysis of the existing navigation channels against the waves are known that the channel is declared suitable for use. It is because the direction of the channel is not perpendicular to the direction of the incoming wave. In addition, the results of sedimentation analysis for one year show that in the a navigation channels and port basin there is silting at the SED 1 point, which is 122.63 mm/year, followed by the SED 2 point, which is 122.83 mm/year, and the SED 3 point, which is 123.20 mm/year, and the highest point is at SED 4, which is 123.29 mm/year. To get a navigation channels that is capable of serving the planned ship, the required volume of capital dredging is 1,529,797.02 m3. Due to the sedimentation factor that occurs in the navigation channels and port basin, it is necessary to maintenance dredging with a volume of 619,600.6019 m3/year. text |
