Summary:Airbnb is a sharing economy platform engaged in accommodation that is often associated with tourism. Bandung as one of the cities with the most favorite tourist destinations in West Java, has the largest number of Airbnb listings besides Jakarta and Bali. The emergence of this platform brings many positive impacts, but this positive impact is also accompanied by the threat of negative impacts if there is no monitoring of its growth. This study examines the impact of Airbnb platform growth on tourism in Bandung City with a focus on the 3A components (Attraction, Amenity, Acessibility). Through Getis-Ord Gi* Hot Spot, Space Time Cube, and Emerging Hot Spot analysis, this study reveals the temporal and spatial distribution pattern of Airbnb listings. Exploratory Regression and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) analysis help identify the variables in Component 3A that influence the growth of Airbnb listings, while Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) spatial regression understands their spatial relationship with Component 3A. The results show that the growth of Airbnb listings tends to be in the northern part of Bandung City with Airbnb growth in Bandung City tends to be low every month. Even so, almost all listing growth trends in each sub-district show up trend status. Factors in the 3A component that influence the growth of Airbnb listings are natural tourist attraction, number of hotels and inns, and length of local roads. Spatially, the coefficient of natural tourist attraction has a high influence on sub-districts in the north-western part of Bandung City. This variable is the variable with the highest coefficient value of the other predictor variables. The coefficient of hotels and inns has a high influence on the sub-districts in the eastern part of Bandung City. Meanwhile, the coefficient of local road length has a high influence on the sub-districts in the northern part of Bandung City. Overall, it can be identified that the growth of listings tends to approach areas with high natural tourism attraction.
