STUDY ON THE READINESS OF IMPLEMENTING THE LADM CONCEPT FOR MARINE CADASTRE

The Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) is a conceptual model used for comprehensive land administration. It is designed to be flexible and adaptable to meet diverse needs. The concept aims to evaluate the readiness and potential use of LADM in the context of marine cadastral administration....

It is designed to be flexible and adaptable to meet diverse needs. The concept aims to evaluate the readiness and potential use of LADM in the context of marine cadastral administration. With the increasing significance of human activities in marine areas, the management of marine resources is becoming more crucial. However, administrative complexity and a lack of clear standards in marine area management often pose challenges. While LADM has proven to be an effective framework for land management, further discussion is needed to use it in the context of marine cadastral administration. This study conducts a literature review and analysis to assess the readiness for using LADM in marine cadastral contexts. Some parts of LADM require adjustments to accommodate the uniqueness of objects present in marine areas. The research results in a conceptual model based on LADM for the marine cadastral environment, along with several recommendations to enhance the readiness for using LADM in marine cadastral administration. These recommendations include the development of clear implementation guidelines, increased awareness and training for stakeholders, and the development of adequate geospatial data infrastructure. It is hoped that this research will contribute to efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marine area management through the appropriate and sustainable application of LADM. text
