The optimum condition obtained for extraction tellurium (IV) from solution of 100 ppm tellurium with percent extraction of tellurium was 78.95 ± 0.19 % were as follow : concentration of span 80 was 3 % (v/v), concentration of D2EHPA at the membrane phase was 5% (v/v), ratio of internal phase volume and membrane phase volume was 1:1, ratio of emulsion volume and external phase volume was 1:3, the time to get rough emulsion was 25 minutes, the time of emulsion formation was 10 minutes, the contact time of emulsion with external phase was 15 minutes, the rate of emulsion formation was 2100 rpm, the contact rate of emulsion with external phase volume was 300 rpm, concentration of hydrochloric acid at the internal phase was 5.5 N, and concentration of hydrochloric acid at the external phase was 3.5 N. Separation selectivity of tellurium (IV) in the presence of Pb(II),Cu(II), and Ni(II) is expressed by the separation factor (a), with the result as follow : aTe,Pb = 48,50 , aTe,cu= 5,88 and aTe,Ni,= 9,05. <br /> text
