Description
Summary:This book will discuss the limitations of existing vehicle detection systems, which rely solely on sensors installed within the vehicles and are limited in terms of range and flexibility. To address this issue, the author proposes a solution involving inter- vehicle communication, allowing each vehicle to extend the detection range of its existing sensors. To support V2V communication, an antenna is designed. The chosen type of antenna is a microstrip antenna, known for its flexible size. Due to the narrow bandwidth of microstrip antennas, broadening will be achieved through trimming the ground plane and extending the feedline. This microstrip antenna will be integrated with other subsystems to test its performance in the field.
