In 2015, Bandung was designated as a creative city by UNESCO. However, the performing arts sub-sector of the creative economy has not developed to its full potential, despite the presence of numerous performing arts practitioners in the city. Data from PPKD in 2018 indicates that performing arts in Bandung are only facilitated by communities, even though Bandung is the largest contributor to the performing arts in West Java, accounting for 12.47% of the creative economy participants. This project aims to establish the Bandung Performing Arts Center, accessible to all social strata, and functioning as a public space that integrates traditional and modern performing arts. Located at 88 Asia Afrika Street in the city center, this site was chosen for its easy accessibility and position in a cultural heritage area, which adds to Bandung's appeal. The main design criteria considered include the creation of public space, responsiveness to community needs, and an inspiring and transparent spatial experience. The Bandung Performing Arts Center is expected to become an architectural icon that enhances interest and contribution to the performing arts within the creative economy and cultural tourism in Bandung
