Description
Summary:One of the main difficulties facing future energy systems is the significant reduction of system inertia due to the partial increase in Renewable Energy Sources (RES). In this research, one solution will be applied to overcome the decrease in frequency stability due to a predetermined decrease in inertia, namely with the help of virtual inertia. However, one of the problems is where exactly the components should be placed. So it is necessary to determine the optimal placement of grid-following and grid- forming units in the system. The simultaneous use of grid-forming and grid-following units that are placed optimally can provide the most optimal system performance compared to those that are placed randomly.
