The area around Bandung was chosen because the physical development of the city is limited and it is the third most populous urban area in Indonesia and there is a BRT line. Research on land cover and land use changes due to infrastructure in Indonesia is already widespread, but research on changes due to BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is still minimal in Indonesia. This research uses GIS so that the transition area of the city center and its suburbs can be well observed. The Cellular Automata method is used to predict future land use because it is simple, flexible, and can incorporate both the spatial and temporal dimensions of the land change process. The purpose of this study is to identify land use change due to BRT in Bandung Metropolitan Area as a mitigation of urban mismanagement. The existence of BRT makes the growth of built-up areas, especially settlements, grow rapidly in the area around the TMP Corridor 5 BRT line. The growth of built-up areas, especially for settlements, indicates leapfrog and ribbon development in the periphery area. In addition, there is also growth in the industry area around the BRT line. The development of built-up areas has resulted in the shrinking of forest and paddy fields. In the future, built-up areas will become more massive and policies are needed to regulate the conversion of green land changes to built-up areas so as not to produce negative impacts. text
