Consequently, most of the product components will have the requisite processing in this facility. In light of this, the facility must always be in prime condition to meet demand. However, the company encounters a predicament in monitoring the facility's condition due to unintegrated and physically stored data. This consequently makes the information difficult to obtained and processed. Therefore, this research will be conducted to design a performance monitoring system. This research used the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) framework that is modified to design a performance monitoring system. The methodology began with defining the scope and objectives. Then, project planning was carried out. The following stages were analyzing general objectives, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and required performances. The next stages were designing the system architecture, data storage and modeling, filing processes, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data processing, and performance visualization. Implementation was accomplished by connecting the design results with the prototype as the system representation. These results were verified, validated, and evaluated. This design identified the data and metrics according to user needs. The identified requirements were batch, job, tank parameters, energy, and downtime. The identified metrics were performance, availability, quality, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), energy usage, parameter accuracy, and job completion. Data processing and recording in this system use Node-RED. Data is stored in a local MySQL database. Then, the database is connected to PowerBI with ODBC. PowerBI is used for visualizing information and performance measurements. The test resulted in production performance system that fullfils users’ need. text |
