UPT Logistik /TB, one of the warehouse management units at /TB managed by a vendor (VMI), faces issues with the duration of goods provision, as procurement takes 2-3 days because the warehouse only functions as a transit point. To address this issue, an integrated warehouse management systern is required, consisting of embedded system devices with barcode and RFID scanner technology, equipped with a web-based integrated information systen1. This final project focuses on the development of hardware and firmware for a smart device to manage various components in an embedded system for barcode and RF/ D-based scanners, implemented on the Infineon Programmable System on Chip (PSoC) 6 CY8CPROT0 -0( 2-4 }4 3W. Decisions in PCB design are based on physical phenomena C;".'risid era:tc ;is, and the implementation of firmware with specific scheduling c J'g. :;r a .l, t>,s a,,d inter-task communication methods based on FreeRTOS ensures that all sy.,tcmcomponents operate with high reliability, which is crucial for achieving a j/T system. The hardware and firmware designed and implemented have undergone testing and verification processes against the specifications set at the beginning of the development. From the PCB perspective, the design and hnplementation are I00% complete, having gone through three design revision processes. From the firmware perspective, the system is capable of performing repeated single scans and successfully transmitting data to the backend with a latency of less than 12 seconds. However, the device is still unable to rewrite the contents of RFID tags, thus an external device separate from the initial smart system has also been designed. text
