Description
Summary:Handicraft embroidery is not something that is rarely found in Indonesia, it can even be found in many typical handicrafts in various regions. In Indonesia, the craft of embroidery is thought to have existed since the 18th century AD, with the development of this craft to make work symbols and to decorate the clothes of nobles. However, handicraft embroidery on book covers in Indonesia is still less common, unlike in England and other European countries. The embroidery that is formed on book covers can take the form of typography from the title of the book, and can also take the form of visualizations of the contents of the book. Such as characters or main objects from the contents of the book and so on. Through this research, the novel trilogy "The Infernal Devices" will be a source of inspiration for the embroidery work on the book covers of the novels in the trilogy.
