Summary: | Sukabumi Regency, like other regions in Indonesia, has experienced a significant increase in
the number of motorcyclists and traffic due to rapid industrial development. However, this
growth has led to an increased risk of accidents, particularly in the 'blacksite' areas around
the Sukabumi-Sagaranten Road, which is the focus of this research. The rise in traffic in
Sukabumi Regency has serious implications for the 'blacksite' areas, which have a high
record of fatal accidents. The primary factors contributing to these accidents include
damaged road infrastructure, inadequate lighting, and limited access to healthcare services
and local authorities. Poor road conditions and inadequate lighting create a high-risk
environment for riders. Limited access to hospitals and authorities increases the risk of fatal
injuries. Additionally, limited mobile phone signals hinder the ability to call for help and
communicate. This research focuses on designing innovative products as a solution to
improve safety and response in accidents. It is hoped that this research will make a
significant contribution to enhancing traffic safety in the 'blacksite' areas of Sukabumi. The
innovative products developed are expected to help create a safer and more responsive traffic
environment in this region. |
