This Final Project Report stems from environmental problems caused by household waste in Indonesia. Although there have been many educational programs carried out by the government and the environmental community regarding waste management, the waste problem has not been resolved. Thus, this final project report will examine the Design of an Educational Center for Sorting and Processing Household Waste with a Tourism Approach in Kota Baru Parahyangan. This design aims to answer various problems which will then be used as a basis for designing public facilities in the form of tourism-based educational facilities that can provide information about household waste management comprehensively and thoroughly to the people of Indonesia. The data collection methods used are literature study, observation and interview. Observation is carried out to find a suitable site for the facility to be designed and benchmarking against facilities that have been designed. Interviews will be conducted to several people to get a spatial experience of educational tourism and its comparison to educational tourism facilities that have been designed. For the analysis of the data obtained will be classified or categorized according to their respective functions and then processed and displayed in the form of qualitative descriptive reports, namely data and reports in sentence form. The data and reports received are then used as the design of public facilities in the form of educational tours in Bandung using the concept of interior design with keywords Contemplative, Associated, and Impact which will then be implemented into the design by considering the impact on target visitors.
