Needs for spatial information in property tax (PBB) administration have been increasing for several years. The needs are not only from inside of property tax office (KP PBB) but also from main tax office (KP DIP) and regional tax office (KANWIL DJP).This condition has increased the number of PBBs spatial data user. PBB's geographic information system (SIG PBB) which is used to manage PBB's spatial data is not designed to handle data access from many users. Several efforts are conducted to make this system available for many users. These efforts make a problem that is the security of PBBs spatial data is disturbed. As a consequence, need certain action to solve this problem.
This research conducts spatial database redesign to improve PBBs spatial data security. The methods of this research are existing system analysis, security policy formulation, spatial database redesign, data access privilege design, design implementation on Oracle Spatial and testing.
According to the test result, PBSs spatial database which is a result of redesign process using Oracle Spatial is able to improve PBB's spatial data security. Data security aspects on this spatial database are well maintained. However, there are still some gaps of data security that can be utilized by unwanted parties to disturb PBB spatial data security. |
