Description
Summary:Dengue Fever (DF) disease is a vector-born viral disease, transmitted by Aedes aegypti and found in tropical climate. Dengue Fever disease case in Indonesia is one of the biggest invasions in the world. Until now, the vaccine has not found yet. Therefore, controlling epidemic dengue is needed for minimizing the dengue dispersal or minimizing the mosquito population dispersal factor. This final project discusses mathematical models for the Aedes aegypti dispersal dynamics based on its wing and wind. This model refers to diffusion process with assumption that there are traveling wave on movement by wing and wind. The velocity of traveling wave will show the existence of traveling wave. The measurable parameters will be analyzed to get velocity of traveling wave. By analyzing the dispersal model, we can predict how it spreads and its dispersal factors.
