Description
Summary:In the warehousing industry, the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain are crucial. UPT Logistik ITB, as a supporting unit for the provision of goods and services to ITB's work units, faces the problem of lacking an automated warehouse management system that can effectively manage stock and its supply chain. Therefore, a warehouse management system is needed to accommodate these needs. One solution is the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to manage the warehouse. VMI will give vendors the responsibility to minimize the risk of stockouts or overstocking at the retailer, thereby resolving stock and supply chain issues. In this thesis, a VMI web application is developed. The implementation of the VMI web application will follow the requirements of UPT Logistik ITB as the end user. The VMI web application will be built using JavaScript with the React library. Additionally, Material UI is used as a component library to assist in creating the interface components. Testing is conducted using two methods: usability testing and black-box testing. The results of the usability testing show a task average SEQ of 6.9 and a mean SUS of 87.5, while the results of the black-box testing indicate 100% success for the 48 tasks conducted.
