INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/82153 The transition of land use in the northern region of Bandung into water infiltration areas makes groundwater a crucial topic. However, information regarding groundwater quality in the Lembang District is not evenly distributed. Therefore, research on geological and hydrogeological conditions is needed to ensure the suitability of groundwater quality and its impact. The research area is located in the Lembang District, covering the villages of Jayagiri, Cikahuripan, Cibogo, Kayuambon, Sukajaya, and Gudangkahuripan, in Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Research methods for the geological aspect involve understanding the distribution of rocks, geomorphology, stratigraphy, geological structures, and geological synthesis. As for the research method for the hydrogeological aspect, it involves determining groundwater levels, hydrochemical facies, groundwater chemical processes, physical-chemical parameters of groundwater, groundwater quality, and infiltration rates. The research area consists of three geomorphological units: Mount Putri Hills, Volcanic Footplain, and Pyroclastic Flow Fan, and four rock units: Undifferentiated Old Volcanic Unit, Pumiceous Tuff Unit, Lava Unit, and Tuff Sand Unit. The hydrogeological system of the research area has volcanic deposit systems containing unconfined aquifers divided into Undifferentiatied Old Volcanic Aquifer, Pumiceous Tuff Aquifer, Lava Aquifer, and Tuff Sand Aquifer. Based on TDS parameters, there is groundwater from 8 water sources that are below standards, while based on pH parameters, there is groundwater from 3 groundwater sources that are below standards. As for the hydrochemical facies in 5 groundwater samples, they indicate calcium chloride type, magnesium bicarbonate type, and mixed type. Analysis of infiltration rates using mini disk infiltrometer in the research area indicates a dominance of slightly slow until moderate infiltration rates. The fastest infiltration rates are found in residential land use zones. text
