Geotourism is one method that can simultaneously play a role in protecting geological heritage and benefit the surrounding community. Kendan Hill itself is thought to be the source location of obsidian as the basic material for artifacts found in Pawon Cave. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess the feasibility of the research area as a geosite and determine steps that can be taken in conservation efforts and geotourism development for the research area. Referring to Permen ESDM No.1 of 2020, the method used is to inventory the geological diversity that exists in the area, the geological diversity is then assessed whether it is feasible to be classified as a geosite. After going through an assessment based on the Geological Survey Center's 2017 criteria, Kendan Hill considered eligible to become a national geological heritage site with recommendations for utilization as an object of special research and general geotourism. Obsidian fragments are isolated in the hills of the east-southeast part of the study area. The most important step to develop Kendan Hill as a geosite is the establishment of Bukit Kendan as a geological heritage site and then the establishment becomes a reference in the regional spatial plan.
