Description
Summary:Development of Metal Organic Framework (MOF) filter for textile wastewater processing to this day is a complicated task because of the amount of resources and time needed. A subsystem that can receive and transmit user input and control the components of the portable filter reactor system with spectrophotometer is required, thus design and implementation of the user interface and central control system for the product developed is conducted to solve the problem of testing the efficiency of Metal Organic Framework (MOF) filters. The author implements a user interface module in the form of a 3.5-inch TFT LCD touch screen display connected to an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as a central control system that can integrate the stages of testing wastewater filters. User Interface testing was conducted by navigating through all menus in the user interface. Finite State Machine testing was conducted by thoroughly evaluating all possible state transitions and conditions. Storage management testing is also done to check the read/write capability of the SD card module by writing experiment results into an SD card. The results show that all subsystems functioned as expected and met the required specifications.
