Therefore, the design of the roof frame structure for the airport terminal in Palembang is carried out to meet the community's need for air transportation facilities. Furthermore, the design of the airport roof structure is required to accommodate aspects of safety, comfort, and architectural beauty as one of the landmarks. The roof structure, spanning 365 meters, is designed with a lateral force-resisting system in the form of a moment-resisting frame structure. The structural elements implement pipe and IWF structural steel components, with structural element detailing utilizing bolt and weld connection schemes. The loading procedures and structural analysis will refer to SNI 1727:2020 and SNI 1726:2019, with strength and detailing requirements following SNI 1729:2020 and SNI 7860:2020. The sequence of design processes carried out in the report shows that the architectural geometry of the roof frame, with the planned selection of structural steel components, has met the requirements for earthquake-resistant buildings, structural steel buildings, and connections between elements. text |
