Folktales such as Malin Kundang from West Sumatra, Timun Mas from Central Java, and Roro Jonggrang from Central Java, not only contain historical value, but also serve as a means of moral education for children. However, in this digital era, interest in folklore is waning. For this reason, innovative and interesting delivery methods are needed, one of which is through visual media that children often access, such as school lockers. Lockers, as a place to store personal belongings at school, can be transformed into an interesting learning medium through ceramic knob decorations that illustrate folklore. This visual implementation is expected to increase children's memory and interest in folklore. This final project aims to design and create a series of folklore-themed ceramic knobs that can be installed on school lockers, thus helping to develop children's visual intelligence and imagination. Through this work, it is hoped that Indonesian folklore will remain alive and relevant in children's education in the modern era. text
